Barton Boom Outhaul Kits

Designed for fitting onto an existing boom profile with the lugged screwed fasteners. Purchased as a standard kit which comes with fixings, end caps, track and block, or purchase individually to create a custom fit for your boat.
Ideal for use with furling mainsails.

Many cruising yachts have been built with in-mast furling mainsails, primarily for ease of handling especially with a family or novice crew onboard. When new they work fine but over time the original outhaul systems become less efficient and hinder smooth handling.  Our new design enables easy retro fit of new track onto the boom and includes a neat and very efficient traveller car with upright pulley block running on TORLON™ ball bearings for maximum strength and efficiency under load.

Barton have developed three Outhaul Traveller Kits for the following yachts:

• Size 5 – 24905 – for yachts up to 32ft/9.75m–(2.4m track)
• Size 6 – 24906 – for yachts up to 36ft/11m-(3.0m track)
• Size 7 – 24907 – for yachts up to 42ft/12.8m-(3.0m track) 

The kits come complete with outhaul traveller car, 24040 (2.4m) or 24050 (3.0m) ball bearing track lengths, 30001 track end caps, M6 s/s fixing screws & aluminium anodised fixing slugs.
